As we to advocate for just state policy-making in 2017 and build on past years' successes, we will gather under the theme of: "Here I am, Lord. Send me."

The first time Isaiah heard God speak, God posed a question, a mission: "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And Isaiah, without yet knowing what God would ask of him, answered, "Here I am, Lord, send me." As people of faith who believe in justice, we are called to work together toward a better world.

Join us for our 2017 Day on the Hill on February 23, when we'll be back at the RiverCentre and the newly-renovated Capitol. Meet others from around the state who are called to advocacy through faith as we inspire one another, learn about important safety-net programs, and speak at the Capitol as stewards for a state that reflects our moral and spiritual beliefs: that all Minnesota families should have the opportunity to thrive.

This year's speaker is Lisa Sharon Harper, who is the Chief Church Engagement Officer at Sojourners. Prior to joining Sojourners, Lisa was the founding executive director of New York Faith & Justice - an organization at the hub of a new ecumenical movement to end poverty in New York City. Harper's faith-rooted approach to advocacy and organizing has activated people across the U.S. and around the world to address structural and political injustice as an outward demonstration of their personal faith. Through preaching, writing, training, network development, and public witness, Ms. Harper engages the church in the work of justice and peacemaking. Find out more about her on the Sojourners website.

Use the form below to register. You can register as many people as you would like. Just fill out a form for each participant.

We are unable to offer any refunds after February 15, 2017.
