A Look Back at Day on the Hill 2009: "Led by Prophets..."
Thank you all for a wonderful 2009 Day on the Hill held Tuesday, February 3rd at RiverCentre and the State Capitol. Over 850 faithful citizens formed a united voice for social justice. Our briefings covered health care, homelessness and housing, poverty, budget and taxes, and impartial courts. We had participants from 60 of the 67 senate districts and had over 120 visits with legislators.
The keynote speech was delivered by Dr. Ingrid Mattson, President of the Islamic Society of North America.
