Who's Not Trying Hard Enough? 
The child poverty rate is now 14% and climbing. The recession has enormously impacted the middle class in ways we have not seen since the US started tracking these statistics. How we can say that people are not trying hard enough?? In times of trouble it seems our first instinct to take care of ourselves and our family, but what does that impulse really look like?  CLICK HERE to read more about how the decisions we are debating at the capitol impact kids.

Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota’s annual conference is titled “Building Brighter Futures” and will take place this year on March 29 and 30, 2011. This year, the conference is focusing on preventing neglect, ending racial disparities, and understanding brain development. Keynote speakers include Dr. L.
