How to Use ICAN's Legislative Agenda

1. Read it to educate yourself. Know the facts and understand the issues.

2. Pass your understanding on to others:

• post the agenda and information sheet on bulletin boards in your congregation
• publish the information in your faith-community's publication or bulletin
• present the issues to your circle of friends or a group in your congregation or neighborhood

3. Mail the agenda along with a short, hand-written note to your senator or representative. Share your concerns; let them know you are one of their constituents and that the well-being of all children is important to you.
